MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 4+ years of experience in battery failure analysis, reliability engineering, or a related field, with a focus on lithium-ion batteries or similar energy storage systems.

Strong technical expertise in battery chemistry, materials characterization, and failure analysis techniques, including microscopy, spectroscopy, and thermal analysis.

Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with experience using tools such as MATLAB, Python, or JMP to analyze large datasets and perform statistical analyses.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically, troubleshoot complex issues, and develop innovative solutions.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in documentation and reporting, ensuring the integrity and reliability of failure analysis results.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects concurrently and prioritizing tasks effectively.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Experience in Failure Analysis, Research or similar role, in the li-ion/energy storage systems or automotive industry a plus.

Strong technical background with expertise in renewable energy and/or battery systems, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.

Methodological knowledge on how to conduct Root Cause Analysis (practical experience is a plus)

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
