Job Description and Duties
Clinical Social Worker, Correctional Facility (SAFETY)
$57.76 hourly rate
California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) is looking for clinical social workers currently working for the state of California who are interested in additional appointments to provide coverage part-time, up to 44 hours per month. These unique positions are open to all clinical social workers currently employed by the State of California. Due to the nature of these dual appointments, the only requirement is that the additional appointment must be a distinctly different role than your primary job, and you cannot be a supervisor, manager, or executive. Onsite dual appointments at your primary institution may be available.

Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice must undergo a background investigation process using Live Scan Fingerprinting and Tuberculosis testing before appointment, followed by annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation by the department.
