Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the California Correctional Health Care Services. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to inmates in a correctional facility setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic nursing care to patients, including vital sign measurements, wound care, and medication administration.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Facilitate telehealth appointments for licensed clinical social workers and addiction medical central team members.
  • Collaborate with the nursing care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Valid Nursing Assistant Certificate issued by the California Department of Public Health.
  • General qualifications as described by California Code of Regulations, title 2, section 172.
  • Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain a CA BVNPT License.
