Job Description:
Property Assistant with Military background a PLUS
Schedule- 8am. to 5 pm.
Salary- 44,408 annually

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Assistant with a military background to join our team. As a Property Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and in excellent condition.

You will work closely with our property management team to ensure that all properties are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with rules and regulations
  • Respond promptly to staff inquiries and student requests.
  • Manage student movein and moveout procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of all propertyrelated activities
  • Work with property management team to develop and implement maintenance plans
  • Conduct regular property maintenance checks and coordinate repairs as needed
  • Assist with property budgeting and financial reporting
  • Ensure that all properties are clean, wellmaintained, and in excellent condition
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Military background a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in related field preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications:

Minimum:
High school graduate or equivalent. Six months experience in a property/inventory control capacity.

Preferred:
Associates' degree. Two years' experience in related field.

Knowledge:
Must possess a valid state driver's license. Sound working knowledge of property/inventory control procedures. Knowledge of Government property management requirements and procedures desired. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Strong organizational skills. Ability to operate a personal computer. Ability to learn company software systems.
