The Patient Services Coordinator II is responsible for providing support and coordinating clinic activities for various patient care services at the Swedish Cancer Institute on multiple campuses. This role involves independently handling a wide range of clerical tasks and patient orientation. Key responsibilities include: scheduling appointments for new patients and follow-up visits, arranging treatments and diagnostic tests, verifying insurance, referrals, and authorizations, managing medical records, addressing billing issues, and handling phone inquiries.

Mandatory Requirements:
  • Completion of Oncology administrative training within six months.

  • Proficient in obtaining insurance verifications, referrals, and authorizations.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Associate’s Degree with a focus on Health Care or equivalent qualification from a two-year college or technical school emphasizing Health Care.
