Job Description

Essential Job Duties
  • May perform routine duties and tasks, such as soldering, cutting wires, prep work of materials.
  • Use various common hand tools such as pliers, scissors, wire strippers ,and semi-automatic production equipment such as torque wrenches
  • Notifies area supervisor and or area lead/coordinator of quality concerns
  • May also be assigned to perform task in other production area
  • May need to train other production assemblers
  • May need to complete other training for GE healthcare
  • Ability to work and stay focused on duties at hand
Qualifications Required
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of assembly experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
  • Manual dexterity with hands and tools used in assembly operations
  • Basic understanding of hand tools required for assembling electronic components
  • Operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors and any other required PPE
  • Good hand to hand and hand to eye coordination
  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time
  • Operating within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assembly drawings
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong attention to detail, while multi-tasking under strict deadlines
  • Basic computer skills required
