Aloft Philly seeks a tech savvy, resourceful, enthusiastic Guest Services Agent to join its team.

The Guest Services Agent will maintain up-to-date knowledge on all things Aloft Philly - from hotel features and room rates, to local and area dining and cultural activities and attractions.

You are our guests' (and future guests') go-to person

This is a full-time, swing shift position that will work any of the following hours:

  • 6:30am3:00pm
  • 3:00pm11:00pm
  • 1:00pm9:00pm
  • 4:00pm11:00pm

Shifts can include weekends and/or holidays as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Be a guru of hotel knowledge, including: All Aloft hotel features/services, hours of operation, room types/layouts, room rates and special packages, promotions, room availability, inhouse group activities, and hotel policies and procedures.
  • Review daily priorities and debrief with departing Guest Services Agent for business status and followup items.
  • Promote topnotch guest relations to everyone approaching the Front Desk, including processing checkins and checkouts, answering phones, communicating VIP arrivals, confirming reservations and cancellations, and satisfactorily resolving guest issues.
  • Manage assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies.

OUR MUST-HAVES:

  • Minimum 12 years of customer service experience (hospitality experience helpful).
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and phone etiquette.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for customer service and creating the ultimate guest experience for our guests
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all guest and hotel information.
  • Detailoriented with demonstrated ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment, prioritize tasks and followup while simultaneously handling frequent arrivals and departures.
  • Collaborative with a teamoriented approach to work.
  • Ability to remain stationary and standing at assigned workspace for extended periods of time.
