JOB SUMMARY
The IT Support position investigates user software and hardware issues, taking action to resolve issues when possible or assisting with resolution with Managed IT Services. Understand and utilize best practice principles to provide front line support and best possible customer service in a timely manner. May perform system setups for new hires.
QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements)
Education and/or years' experience required:
- Associate degree in computer science or similar degree; or 2 years of industry experience.
Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrates exceptional problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
- Ability to network with users and understand company needs; technical understanding of Windows Operations Systems, Active Directory/Group Policy
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to understand, listen and resolve complex issues.
Supervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable):
- Supervisory responsibilities are required with this position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITES
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware to the end user's satisfaction.
- Troubleshooting and daily administration tasks.
- Provide on-site and remote support to employees. Including visiting sites as needed.
- Assists with the installation, configuration and maintenance of computers, workstations and/or other related equipment and devices.
- Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance on systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications.
- Recognizes potential problems or patterns of events and reacts responsibly.
- Provide individual instruction and/or training to users on new or updated technologies.
- Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.
- Performs Wallwork Inc.-wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor.
- Upholds Wallwork Inc. ethical standards and demonstrates the behavioral and service expectations as defined in our policies and procedures.
