Job Summary

The Wholesale Parts Consultant is responsible for managing the inventory of our parts department, as well as providing customers with technical information on their vehicles. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with automotive systems, vehicle maintenance, and automotive parts
Preferred Skills and Abilities
  • Mechanic background preferred, but not required
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • CDK experience
  • Multibrand knowledge
Essential Functions and Accountabilities
  • Orders and purchases automotive parts, verifies parts numbers, and prepares purchase requests
  • Contacts vendors for ordering parts
  • Checks incoming purchases against invoices and stocks supplies in appropriate bins
  • Communicates with customers on parts and/or service needed or in progress
  • Adheres to work schedule and maintains regular attendance
  • Performs Wallwork Inc.-wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor
  • Upholds Wallwork Inc. ethical standards and demonstrates behavioral and service expectations
