Summary

The Retail Manager is responsible for leading a team of front-line employees and anticipates potential customer issues; apply contingency planning to avoid customer dissatisfaction. Create appealing and eye-catching visual displays. Prior experience required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Possess working knowledge of CBD products and non-marijuana hard and soft goods.

Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers and add value to shopping experience (promote loyalty program, contextualizing products through knowledge, usage, and dosage).

Accountable for a strong strategic understanding of the customer, market and community to enable a better local connection.

Ensures availability of merchandise and services by maintaining and receiving inventory of current merchandise and supplies.

Ensures inventory counts are being performed on schedule with acceptable results, and the proper documentation is being executed and filed.

Responsible for the settlement of all inventory discrepancies and reporting the resolution of such discrepancies.

Develop monthly summary of all inventory discrepancies and how the issues have been resolved and/or mitigated.

Work with merchandising team to increase sales and customer volumes.

Analyze the market's potential, track sales and status reports.

Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services.

Ensure incoming product is received and managed appropriately according to company guidelines.

Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved.

Coordinate with the management team to discuss inventory management plans and methods to reduce errors and maximize inventory efficiency.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises 7 to 9 employees in the Retail Store. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
