Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our Retail Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operation of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, including managing inventory, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Team Management: Coach, train, and develop store employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Loss Prevention: Implement and maintain effective loss prevention measures to minimize shrinkage and protect company assets.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with management, employees, customers, and donors to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of retail management or supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required.
  • Background Check: Pass a background check, including a criminal history and sex offender registry check.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to: Sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
  • Ability to: Grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks, and miscellaneous carts.
  • Ability to: Move product up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to: Perform various repetitive motion tasks.
