Responsibilities:
- Conducting physical exams, including pelvic exams, breast exams, and prenatal exams.
- Participation of prenatal and postpartum care of clients, including contraception counseling.
- Providing gynecological care, such as family planning services, contraceptive counseling, and screening for sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
- Performing minor surgical procedures, such as contraceptive device insertions/removals.
- Diagnosing and treating common gynecological conditions, such as menstrual disorders, urinary tract infections, and menopause-related symptoms.
- Interpretation of various laboratory, ultrasound, genetic screening, urinalysis, and microscope results.
- Keep paper and computerized medical records accurate and up to date.
- Ensuring high standards of clinical care are maintained.
- Communicating effectively and sympathetically with mothers and relatives.
- Providing high quality patient care as part of healthcare.
Qualifications:
- Licensed as a WHNP Nurse Practitioner in the state of Georgia.
- Must have Women's Health and OB/GYN experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to create a positive work environment.
- Ability to identify and solve problems.
- Friendly and capable of respectfully communicating to both patients and staff.
