Weston & Sampson is currently seeking Project Managers with expertise in highway/roadway design to work out of any of our New England office locations. The Project Managers will lead a team of professionals in transportation projects, primarily with public clients such as state and county Departments of Transportation and municipalities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with planning, design, and construction administration of transportation projects for public clients.
  • Manage engineers and technical staff on various projects.
  • Develop technical and fee proposals, negotiate scopes of service, and maintain client relationships.
  • Collaborate with leaders to write proposals and expand the highway design group.
  • Engage with professional organizations to enhance relationships.
  • Travel to client meetings, project sites, and other office locations may be required.
Requirements:
  • BS in Civil Engineering required.
  • MS in Civil Engineering is a plus.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in MA required (or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months).
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Bentley MicroStation.
  • Familiarity with DOT Engineering Design Manual and AASHTO Green Book.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
