Government Programs Provider Representative

As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for institutional provider contracting, education, and services for various government programs in Kansas and Missouri. This includes working with hospitals, home health services, dialysis centers, and ambulatory surgery facilities that are part of the government program networks.

In this role, you will supervise provider financial and coding audits on-site, assist in obtaining and negotiating contracts from providers, and play a key role in ensuring all providers are informed and supported.

Compensation Package

$80,000 per year

This is a great opportunity to work in a hybrid setting and be part of a company that values its employees' well-being. Applicants must be located in Kansas or Missouri or be open to relocating for this role.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide education, training, and audit activities for institutional providers in government programs.
  • Ensure providers are well-informed about all programs offered by our company.
  • Assist providers with contract requirements and claims submission.
  • Lead educational seminars and conduct necessary audits.
  • Evaluate and process redetermination requests from providers.
  • Maintain relationships with institutional provider administrators and participate in team meetings to address challenges.
  • This role involves approximately 45% travel and 45% overnight stays annually.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing, or Hospital Administration/Health Economics preferred. Relevant experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Valid driver's license is a must.
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of procedural and diagnostic coding. Certification by the American Academy of Procedural Coders is a plus.
  • Background in hospital administration is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with institutional provider claim billing procedures for TriWest and Medicare Advantage is advantageous.
  • Experience in negotiating and analyzing contract language is a bonus.
