Position: SIC Electrician

Job Overview: We are currently seeking skilled Electricians to support our operations in various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings.
  • Adhere to precise standards of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Utilize tools such as voltage testers, wire strippers, and pipe benders for layout preparation.
  • Implement lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures during panel terminations.
  • Plan installation sequences to prevent interference with other trades.
  • Install cable trays, pull wires, and bend conduits as required.
  • Demonstrate understanding of motor controls and metering systems.
  • Calculate appropriate sizes for branch circuit overcurrent protection devices.
  • Assess electrical loads for both single-phase and three-phase circuits.
  • Evaluate information based on measurable standards.
  • Review and analyze variations in sizes and shapes of electrical components.
  • Follow detailed instructions and adhere to plans and specifications.
  • Perform tasks from various positions, including overhead and confined spaces.
  • Make informed decisions based on established criteria.
  • Visualize and interpret objects in three dimensions from technical drawings.
  • Lift and transport materials of varying weights safely.
  • Identify and respond to hazardous conditions promptly.
  • Maintain regular attendance and be prepared for potential travel.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficient in both verbal and written communication.
  • Complete all required safety and job training programs.
  • Consistently observe safety and quality protocols.

Physical and Job Site Requirements:

  • Ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE) effectively and lift up to fifty pounds.
  • Work in diverse environments, including offices, warehouses, and outdoor sites, with exposure to various elements.
  • Access all areas of properties and structures safely, including elevated and confined spaces.
  • Meet the physical demands necessary to perform essential job functions.
  • Safely operate all required tools and equipment.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods and working in challenging positions.
