In this role, you will oversee the operational aspects of the Neurosciences and Cardiovascular clinical service lines at the Adult Academic Health Center. Working closely with medical directors, physicians, administrators, and system leaders, you will ensure the achievement of set metrics and objectives for the service lines and clinical programs, promoting quality patient care in a well-integrated network. Ideal candidates will have a clinical background, with a preference for a nursing degree/certification.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Physician and provider recruitment and retention
  • Allocation of clinical activities
  • Maintenance of service line accreditations
  • Collaboration with hospital and outpatient leadership
  • Facilitation of training programs and new clinical offerings
  • Liaising with external partners on behalf of the organization

Key Relationships

Reports to: Vice President - Clinical Operations

Direct Reports: 9

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates for this position will be assessed based on:

  • Bachelors Degree in Allied Health, Nursing, or Finance (Masters preferred)
  • 5 years of experience in program development or service line management
  • Experience in marketing and outreach plan execution
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Ability to negotiate financial deals and contracts
  • Travel within the state
  • Knowledge of Quality Improvement processes
  • Understanding of regulatory guidelines
  • Resource management skills
  • Effective communication and team-building abilities
  • Experience in academic settings and mergers/acquisitions
  • Leadership proficiency in various areas
