Job Duties:

  • Coordinate aquatic recreation programs in alignment with community needs and equity priorities.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, safety programs, and events at the facility.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, ensuring compliance with policies and best workplace practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork within the staff.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as staff scheduling, training, and responding to public inquiries.

Required Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with health codes for public swimming facilities.
  • Experience in American Red Cross Learn to Swim, Lifeguarding, and Safety courses.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in accomplishing goals and addressing performance issues.
  • Strong customer service background with conflict resolution abilities.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
