Job Description:

Seeking a diligent professional to join our team as a Risk Governance Reporting & Analyst. This pivotal role involves spearheading operational risk and third-party risk management reporting and analysis to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a knack for creating insightful reports for diverse levels of our organization while also leveraging data analysis to identify potential risks or opportunities. Additionally, this role entails researching emerging risks, facilitating regulatory response, and advocating for continuous improvement within our risk management framework.

Operational and Third-Party Risk Reporting:

  • Utilize expertise in Governance, Risk and Control (GRC) systems and Microsoft Power BI to develop and analyze reports for operational and third-party risk teams.
  • Collaborate with business heads to comprehend departmental risks and ensure clear accountability.
  • Maintain an organized system for report management within the GRC platform.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive data library documenting GRC fields for user reference.
  • Prepare educational reports for the Board of Directors regarding significant business risks.
  • Monitor data quality controls associated with risk systems.

Automation of Reporting:

  • Evaluate reporting systems for automation opportunities to streamline manual processes.

Regulatory Response:

  • Centrally monitor regulatory requests and recommendations, overseeing responses from review to resolution.

Emerging Risks:

  • Develop a methodology for identifying emerging risks in collaboration with Operational and Third-Party Risk Managers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Risk, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in risk management, governance, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in report writing with Archer and Power BI, with at least 5 years of experience.
  • 5 years of experience in the financial services industry preferred.
  • Certification as a Certified Enterprise Risk Professional (CERP) from the ABA
