You will need to have recognized qualifications as a Consultant Psychiatrist (FRANZCP, Advance Certificate in Addiction Psychiatry preferred) or Addiction Medicine (FAChAM). You should possess strong professional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a proven dedication to personal and professional development. A strong commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and providing evidence-based care is a must. Your role will include contributing to a positive organizational culture, setting an example of professionalism by upholding patient dignity, compassion, effective communication, and ethical clinical practices. Additionally, you will actively engage in teaching and supervising Junior Medical Staff, Medical Students, and the wider team. Involvement in service evaluation, audits, and research activities is also expected.
