Job Summary:


Transdev, a transportation company, has an open position for a Dispatch Lead/Supervisor to oversee their paratransit operations in the Atlanta, Georgia metropolitan area.

The ideal candidate should possess exceptional dispatching skills and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service to both paratransit passengers and the company's contracted driver workforce.

Qualified applicants with relevant dispatching experience, strong customer service competencies, and the capacity to manage a team of dispatchers while ensuring efficient paratransit services are highly encouraged to apply.


Essential Duties:

  • Manage customer interactions and feedback across various channels
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs effectively
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Assist in preparing daily schedules and managing workflow related to scheduling
  • Coordinate with government agencies and other entities during emergencies, traffic issues, detours, or service changes
  • Oversee dispatch operations, manage dispatchers' work, and coordinate closely with the manager
  • Document and report employee disciplinary matters to the manager
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Two or more years of public transit experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with Trapeze & radio dispatch preferred or road supervision preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt to changing situations, and listen to feedback
  • A customer service-oriented mentality with attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • The majority of work is accomplished indoors and in air-conditioned or well-ventilated facilities
  • Most work is accomplished in an office or cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
  • The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
