Hospital Hours

Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Veterinary Technician or Assistant Responsibilities

  • Taking histories and providing initial client education
  • Assisting with surgical procedures and patient monitoring
  • Care of hospitalized patients
  • Daily callbacks to clients
  • Restraining patients
  • Assisting in taking radiographs
  • Giving IV & IM injections
  • Dispensing controlled drugs
  • Placing IV catheters and maintaining feeding tubes and urinary catheters
  • Performing cytology's
  • Monitor Surgical procedures
  • Lab Diagnostics
  • Following opening/closing procedures for hospital
  • Performing routine cleaning

Requirements and Qualifications

· At least 1-year related experience

· Exceptional Customer Service and Communication Skills

· Positive attitude

· Must be able to multitask and thrive in a team environment
