As a Cardiology Technician, you will be entrusted with delivering outstanding nursing care and compassionate client service.

Work hours for this position are from 7 am to 5:30 pm, four days a week, allowing for a three-day weekend every week, with on-call duties one weekend every other month.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician
  • RVT certification preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted
  • Capability to kneel, squat, and bend
  • Emotionally intelligent and empathetic
  • Proficient in technology, including electronic medical record systems and automated lab analyzers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform venipuncture: jugular, cephalic, saphenous
  • IV catheter placement
  • Conduct lab work
  • Assist in radiology
  • Induce and monitor anesthesia
  • Facilitate endotracheal intubation
  • Execute medical calculations
