We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Adult Day Care Aide to join our team.

As a Daycare Aide, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for elderly adults.

If you have a passion for working with the elderly and speak fluent Chinese and English, we would love to hear from you.


Responsibilities:

  • Translate for some of our Chinese speaking participants
  • Work with kitchen staff to pass out appropriate meals to each participant
  • Provide aid and translation with work out / physical classes during the day.
  • Provide aid and translation to other employees at the center.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for elderly in your care
  • Supervise and engage in educational and recreational activities
  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all participants at all times
  • Follow all daycare policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, and hygiene
  • Collaborate with other daycare staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Experience:

  • Previous experience working in an adult day health care is preferred
  • Strong Chinese / Engliish communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with elderly participants on an individual level
