***We are currently seeking a Regional Safety Manager. This is a remote based role in Pennsylvania***

**Job Summary:**

The Regional Safety Manager is responsible for planning, directing and managing the safety programs and activities throughout CoolSys. The Regional Safety Manager shall ensure the health and safety of company employees, contractors, and visitors in compliance with CoolSys and Safety Standards, federal, state and local OSHA regulations and industry best practices. CoolSys' Safety Commitment is that each and every employee and contractor finishes each day injury free.

**Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:**

Plan, organize, direct, audit, and control CoolSys' safety activities.

Identify potential risks by job type thru analysis and develop plans and programs to eliminate hazards and deliver training to mitigate risks.

Communicate safety statistics, strategies and information to management and others.

Review and update new employee safety orientation program

Participate in the development of field employee safety programs

Develop Emergency action plans for larger offices, including training first responders and setting up drills.

Act as company representative to Local, State and Federal regulatory agencies.

Implement policies that comply with all governmental regulations including local, state and federal OSHA rules.

Review current and pending legislation and rules for new requirements.

Create new programs/training curriculum based on newly promulgated regulation or laws, or areas of need.

Perform accident investigations and analysis to develop corrective action for preventing future occurrences.

Develop trending reports based on root cause (HFACS Classifications).

Validate content of current training curriculum.

Oversee/conduct audits of safety programs, in terms of compliance with the stated objectives/requirements of the companys Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).

Develop Standard safe work practices.

Assist HR with developing parameters for job descriptions to enhance safe working environments.

Other related duties might be assigned as required or requested.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**

Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.

Skill in written and oral communications.

Knowledge of and ability to interpret Federal, State, and Local laws and ordinances governing safety in the workplace.

Knowledge of and skill in supervisory and managerial techniques and principles.

Skill in using computers and safety related software.

Ability to analyze and resolve irregular events.

Skill in planning and organizing.

Thorough knowledge of proper industrial safety practices and required safety training programs.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

Bachelors degree in safety related field or (5) years of safety experience, at least (2) of which were managerial capacity.

CPR/First Aid instructor.

Safety Certifications such as CSP, ASP or ASSE Safety management are preferred.
