Traveling Welder

*Job Description
As a Traveling Welder, you'll be primarily engaged in MIG and/or TIG welding 50-90% of the time on a mix of stainless steel and carbon steel materials with a small amount of aluminum. The gauge of steel ranges from very thin to schedule 10, 1/4" piping work.

A significant part of your duties will also include setting up fixtures for welds off of blueprints which will require cutting raw material to size, welding pipe to plate.

Our core product line includes large pressure vessels/tanks, with the tank's inner core made of stainless steel and the outer core made of carbon steel with insulation in between.

MIG welders will be tasked with welding these tanks together, as well as welding all of the connecting tops of the tanks.

TIG welders will be responsible for welding the piping systems that connect the tank to other equipment.
