Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aluminum MIG welder to join our team at EnerStaff LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for welding aluminum components in various positions, including vertical, horizontal, and overhead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weld aluminum components in various positions, including vertical, horizontal, and overhead.
  • Set up components for welding according to detailed specifications.
  • Rig, lift, set, align, and fit equipment in position according to drawings and specifications.
  • Perform maintenance on and inspection of existing, aging equipment for defects, damage, and deterioration.
  • Operate electrical test equipment, including Hi-Pot, Ductor, and Megger.
  • Operate company vehicles safely and within company policy.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of welding experience, including aluminum GMAW and GTAW welding in industrial outdoor environments.
  • 3-5 years of pipefitting, rigging, ironworking, or related experience.
  • Familiarity with medium and high voltage electrical equipment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and proper use of protective equipment.
  • TWIC Card.
  • Basic Plus.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including power plants, nuclear facilities, and petrochemical facilities.
  • Valid and current driver's license.
  • Must pass nuclear background check and drug screening.
