The Big Ten Network is in search of a Coordinating Producer of Originals & Storytelling to join their team in Chicago, IL. The role involves managing storytelling content at B1G Network, collaborating closely with the Vice President of Originals & Storytelling to maintain high-quality short-form and long-form storytelling.

The ideal Coordinating Producer should possess a blend of creativity, in-depth sports knowledge, acute attention to detail, and strong leadership and motivational skills to drive the creative team towards success and growth.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Macro Editorial Supervision of BTN's Journey franchise
  • Micro Editorial Supervision of 12 sports of BTN's Crossover Series
  • Macro Editorial Supervision of BTN's Crossover Series
  • Lead production of Media Days Content Gathering
  • Supervise all necessary appearance, material, and location releases
  • Potential to produce a B1G Story
  • Maintain and distribute the weekly crossdepartmental Feature Update
  • Assist in managing direct reports and facilitate employee growth

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 10+ years of experience as a content creator
  • 3+ years in a supervisory role with direct reports
  • Mastery of video editing with Adobe Premiere
  • Strong knowledge of sports and social media best practices
  • Outstanding writing and communication skills
  • Exceptional relationship builder
