Description

JOB PURPOSE

To efficiently manage and organize customer work packages throughout aircraft maintenance visits.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Job Functions:
  • Manage the flow of routine and non-routine work cards during maintenance processes.
  • Issue work cards based on the work plan and instructions from the Production Manager before each shift.
  • Prepare and maintain work boards for upcoming shifts and days.
  • Coordinate mechanics, inspectors, engineers, and material management for ongoing aircraft work.
  • Update parts availability status and aircraft progress, providing reports to maintenance personnel and supervisors.
  • Assess ordered and received parts to plan work requirements efficiently.
  • Ensure smooth shift turnovers to maintain project productivity.
  • Coordinate project needs with various skills and external vendors as necessary.
  • Communicate and coordinate work scope and sequencing with the Maintenance and Inspection departments.
  • Assist in preparing and organizing customer work packages when needed.
Marginal Job Functions:
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service while interacting with customers.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely, directing activities to maintain a secure work environment.
Qualifications

WORKING CONDITIONS

Physical Demands: Includes sitting, standing, walking, bending, and occasional climbing. Requires manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination. May involve lifting up to 20 pounds and working with various equipment.

Equipment Operated: Telephone, computer terminal, printer, copy machine, fax machine.

Work Location: Production Control and Planning Department areas.

Protective Equipment Required: Ear protection.

Potential Hazards: Exposure to noise, temperature variations, materials listed on Safety Data Sheets, and working near machinery.
