As the NRV Fleet Administrator, you will:
  • Track the status of revenue and non-revenue UTA vehicles.
  • Coordinate vehicle reassignments, donations, and disposals.
  • Assist with commissioning and accepting new vehicles.
  • Prepare technical reports and maintenance specifications.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures to improve organizational vehicle usage efficiency.
  • Develop and integrate continuous improvement strategies to create efficiencies and improved outputs in vehicle performance.
  • Interact with various internal departments regarding vehicle maintenance, utilization, and vehicle allocation.
  • Develop and maintain productive interdepartmental relations.
  • Manage the telematics application for the Non-Revenue Support Fleet Department.
  • Work as a telematics system subject matter expert.
  • Utilize data from the telematics system to make decisions regarding support fleet vehicle allocation, maintenance planning, vehicle replacement planning, appropriate fleet sizing, and fleet vehicle allocations across the agency.
  • Monitor driver habits and address concerns with management as needed.
  • Be responsible for setting up vehicle maintenance schedules in UTAs vehicle maintenance system.
  • Ensure all preventative maintenance is completed and required documentation and maintenance records are accurate and up to date.
  • Act as the Project Manager for implementation of fleet management program initiatives including technology improvements, usage initiatives, and cost savings strategies.
Minimum QualificationsEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/LICENSES
  • Five years in a vehicle support position with demonstrated progressive competence in program management using a maintenance ERP such as JD Edwards.
  • Five years in system administration - Demonstrated system administration experience using multiple software programs and relational databases. Familiarity with maintenance ERP such as JD Edwards.
  • Bachelors Degree in a business-related field, preferably business management or business administration.
  • Must have a valid Utah driver's license and no more than 4 moving violations in the past three 3 years; cannot have more than 1 violation of driving under the influence of alcohol or any drug within the last 10 years.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
  • Basic proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Visio, preferred
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Word, preferred
  • Experience in telematics software preferred
  • This job requires regular and predictable attendance.
