Compensation:
$30/hr

Job Function/Description:
- Promote a Zero incident Mindset Safety Culture
- Have knowledge to maintain OSHA logs and recordkeeping regulatory documentation
- Able to conducts safety presentations and training to support compliance with safety regulations and the consistent application of safe behaviors
- Provide safety support to maintain and promote safety standards and keep leadership informed on all training and recertification progress for all compliance trainings.
- Ensure that all job specific trainings have been completed and certified and all new hires are fully and property trained on companywide safety policies and guidelines
- Lead by example, encourage a safe working environment and correct obvious hazards immediately
- Conducting required Company required audits and additional safety related functions such as the coordination of the onsite emergency response team and Safety Committee
- Damage Control for onsite damage reporting to Innovation Group; Primarily preventative action and critical thinking skills for a safer, functional workplace
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety or related technical field
- ~3 years of relevant work experience as a safety specialist or manager in warehouse operating environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with all levels of the organization including customers and carriers.
- Ability to prioritize effectively, while meeting deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with strong work ethic
- Travel Required: Alternating locations between Bethel, PA & Hazleton, PA; Main Hub – Hazleton, PA
- Provide virtual support to Groveland, FL Facility
- Able to walk warehouse floors and assembly operations to establish Health and Safety presence
- Passionate in creating an inclusive and safe work environment
- Maintain positive and proactive relationships with managers and employees
- Fully Onsite Required
