Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Certified Nurse Aide to join our Clinical team at Lifespace Communities. As a Geriatric Care Specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer direct patient care, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and moving residents.
- Initiate resident needs assessments, safety checks, and report any changes or unusual findings to the nurse.
- Coordinate with the nursing team to record accurate vital signs and maintain records of ADLs.
- Implement standard precautions and infection control standards to provide a clean and safe environment.
- Respond promptly to call lights and conduct regular assessments to verify resident needs are met.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience working with the geriatric population.
- Certified nursing aide licensure required by state regulations.
