Responsibilities:

Summary: As a Staff Accountant I, GL, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely maintenance of General Ledger accounts, supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Adherence to company accounting policies and procedures.
  • Posting journal entries accurately and on time.
  • Collaborating with other staff accountants on journal entry review and maintenance.
  • Assisting in retrieving journal entry support for auditors.
  • Preparation of monthly internal reporting packages.
  • Working closely with GL accounting analysts on assigned tasks.
  • Supporting month-end and year-end close procedures.
  • Compiling and summarizing necessary reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls.
  • Performing other assigned duties.
Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience in planning work and achieving objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to produce clear and concise reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
