Position Overview
- Assist residents with medication and bathing reminders, grooming, dressing, companionship, and other services that promote independence and well-being.
- Follow the personalized care schedule provided by your supervisor to meet residents' needs effectively.
- Offer emotional and social support to residents, creating a caring and compassionate environment.
- Keep detailed daily logs of the assistance provided to residents.
- Prioritize and safeguard the independence and dignity of all residents under your care.
- Handle resident, family, and employee concerns promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with residents, visitors, and colleagues.
Qualifications
- No prior experience necessary, although a minimum of 1 year in a nursing or senior care setting is preferred.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays is a must.
- Flexible schedule required, including early mornings and evenings as needed.
- Strong communication skills in English are essential.
- Attributes such as compassion, professionalism, kindness, empathy, and helpfulness are highly valued.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrated capacity to make independent decisions when required.
- Friendly and positive demeanor towards residents and fellow team members.
