Living Well Support Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Attendant to join our team at Liberty Heights. As a Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing assistance to residents in our Living Well Program, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their independence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Personal Care and Support: Assist residents with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and other daily living activities to promote their well-being and independence.
- Follow Resident Schedules: Adhere to the schedules of residents' needs set out by your supervisor to ensure timely and effective support.
- Offer Emotional and Social Support: Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, promoting a sense of belonging and connection.
- Document Daily Activities: Maintain accurate and detailed records of assistance provided to residents.
- Respect Resident Autonomy: Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of residents, promoting a culture of self-reliance and empowerment.
- Maintain Confidentiality: Ensure the confidentiality of resident information and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Respond promptly and effectively to resident and family concerns, striving to provide a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless support and care for residents.
- No Experience Required: We welcome applicants with no prior experience in a nursing or senior care environment.
- Weekend Availability: Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing schedules and work requirements, including early mornings and evenings.
- Effective Communication: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with residents, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Compassion and Empathy: Demonstrate a genuine commitment to providing compassionate and empathetic care to residents.
- Teamwork and Problem-Solving: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, handling multiple tasks safely and efficiently, and making independent decisions when necessary.
