WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A PROPOSAL COORDINATOR

As a new Proposal Coordinator at Cramer Fish Sciences, you can expect to work collaboratively with various teams to prepare and submit proposals to potential clients.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include coordinating proposal schedules, gathering necessary information from team members, and ensuring timely submission of documents.

You will assist in editing and formatting proposal content, organizing proposal materials, and tracking proposal status.

With a flexible schedule of 32 hours per week, you will have the opportunity to hone your writing skills while contributing to the company's success.

This role offers a stimulating work environment where your problem-solving abilities and attention to detail will shine.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS PROPOSAL COORDINATOR JOB

To excel as a Proposal Coordinator at Cramer Fish Sciences, you must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat are essential for facilitating the proposal preparation and submission process.

You will need to develop templates for proposals and other deliverable documents, so experience with graphic design software like InDesign or Canva is a plus.

Excellent communication skills are crucial as you will be coordinating with science professionals to gather information and ensure accurate proposal content.

The ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment is key to succeeding in this role focused on problem-solving and innovation.

Education
Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications, or business.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
With input from science professionals, facilitate the proposal preparation and submission process.
Develop templates for proposals and other deliverable documents.
Refine future proposal strategies, process, and templates.
Develop graphic designs using InDesign to support the development of proposals and marketing materials.
Track proposals success rates and debrief with clients on lost proposals.
Search for business opportunities (e.g., RFPs, RFQs).
Track and research market, clients, and competitors; and develop a lead tracking system.
Edit existing project descriptions and employee resumes.
Create new project descriptions.
Provide proofreading of company reports, documents, and manuscripts.
Proposal or marketing experience in the environmental consulting or engineering industry is strongly desired.
