Residential Sales and Estimator Position at WSFP

As the Residential Sales and Estimator, your main responsibility will be to create estimates for potential clients, calculating the expenses associated with providing them products or services. You will also play a key role in driving sales to meet the yearly targets set by Western States Fire Protection.

Duties:
  • Prepare precise and efficient cost estimates
  • Maintain a database of all generated Estimates and update them as needed
  • Assist the Project Management team in project setup, organization, scheduling, and cost estimations
  • Aid in sourcing necessary resources
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers on a daily basis
  • Engage with potential clients to promote service agreements and new systems
  • Identify customer needs through site surveys and educate them on WSFP offerings
  • Build and manage a pipeline of proposals in line with sales targets
  • Cultivate new and existing client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships
  • Collaborate with other WSFP teams in your designated area
  • Achieve the objectives outlined in the annual commission plan
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in estimating for residential construction
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or relevant work background in residential construction cost estimation
  • Familiarity with Fire Protection industry and local building codes
  • Proficiency in using Sage Estimating Extended software and Excel macros
  • Strong sales prospecting and closing abilities
  • Established connections with General Contractors in the area
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational capabilities
  • Adherence to the values and ethos of Western States Fire Protection
  • Some travel may be required; candidates must have a vehicle, valid driver's license, and insurance
  • Successful completion of a drug screening and background check
This role offers a salary ranging from $33 to $40 per hour, based on experience.
