Vacancy Overview:
We are looking for a Design Engineer at Anderson Dahlen to analyze customer requirements and design fabricated components and systems for manufacturability. You will be responsible for ensuring that the equipment meets functional requirements, working in a collaborative environment with various departments to exceed customer expectations, and researching advanced technology for cost-effective solutions in high precision stainless steel manufacturing. As a Design Engineer, your input into make versus buy decisions for system components will be crucial.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create designs, specifications, models, bills of material, and manufacturing drawings in collaboration with other engineers and drafters.
- Coordinate with production to ensure designs meet manufacturability capabilities.
- Ensure product safety, dependability, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.
- Prototype building for testing and approval purposes.
- Review customer models and drawings for accuracy and completeness.
- Update and modify designs to enhance performance and integrate new technology.
