We are seeking a self-motivated Tax Manager to join our expanding team at TriStar Tax & Business Solutions.

The Tax Manager will be responsible for planning and managing the tax team, taking client calls/meetings and reviewing returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates.

The ideal candidate will be a self starter who possess excellent communication and organizational skills, exhibits strong analytical skills, is proficient in accounting software and has an understanding of tax law.


Responsibilities:
Manages the timely and accurate preparation of all tax returns.
Communicates with clients to ensure that all of their needs are understood and addressed.
Understand client tax issues/research tax issues
Assist other tax members with accounting responsibilities
Communicates well and has excellent customer service skills.
Supervises and trains staff on best practices, performs annual performance reviews, and works with management on appropriate staffing allocation.

Basic Requirements / Qualifications:
Must have 4-5+ Years of Public Accounting Experience (with a CPA firm)
At least 1 Year as a Tax Manager
Active CPA
Strong leadership, decision making, and technical skills.
Enjoys working with a team in an energetic and open working environment.
Public Accounting Experience.
Experience with Microsoft Excel required.
Experience with QuickBooks Online required.
