Job Summary:

Crisler CPA, PLLC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accounting Professional to join our team. As a key member of our accounting services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional accounting services to our clients, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Services: Assist with gathering information from clients, completing assignments, and coordinating with accounting staff and managers to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting services.
  • Client Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with clients and supervisors regarding services, including regular client contact and the willingness and ability to recognize and respond to opportunities to provide expanded or new services to clients.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare financial statements, budgets, and financial analyses for clients, and assist with financial planning and forecasting.
  • Payroll and Tax Services: Process client payroll, assist with tax deposits, prepare payroll tax, sales/use, and other state/local tax returns, and record client accounting transactions.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain client general ledgers, review monthly reconciliations of client bank accounts and credit cards, and assist with financial statement preparation.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices, and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field required.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of recent accounting/bookkeeping experience required, with a strong preference for CPA firm experience.
  • Skills: Proficient with QuickBooks (Desktop & Online) and Microsoft Office, with excellent attention to detail, sound communication and analytical skills, and the ability to advise team members and clients on services and solutions.
