What You'll Do


The position of Quality Control Technician is involved in a series of activities related to the control of our key manufacturing processes.

This position reports to the Production Foreman and will be responsible for a mixture of process development work. This position is Monday - Thursday from 3:00 pm - 1:00 am with occasional hours required on Fridays. There is a 90-day probation period with this position.

  • Assist management throughout the plant with processes
  • Perform quality assurance tests including bulk density tests, magnetics tests, and grading tests
  • Review and record test results
  • Read quality control (QC) tests and consult with Production Foreman to make adjustments accordingly to maintain specifications and report bad results immediately.
What You'll Need

To be successful in this position, you must:

  • Possess a High School diploma, Trade School or Vocational High School Diploma
  • Be able to meet quality standards and ensure all material is tested
  • Follow plant policies and procedures as directed by management
  • Be able to follow all prescribed safe work methods and work injury free
  • Have a strong commitment to safety, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong computer skills
  • Be able to use basic hand tools, i.e. wrenches, screw drivers, mallets
  • Be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. and stand/walk up to 10 hours a day
