Job Summary:

The Assembly Technician will be responsible for performing diversified hand and bench assembly and measuring operations to assemble a wide variety of sizes and types of precision ball and roller bearings and related items to required specifications. This includes pre-assembly inspection, assembly, preload, utility, etch (marking), final inspection, lube, and packaging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diversified hand and bench assembly and measuring operations to assemble precision ball and roller bearings and related items.
  • Conduct pre-assembly inspection, assembly, preload, utility, etch (marking), final inspection, lube, and packaging operations.
  • Work with a team to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
  • Perform in-process inspections and bench inspections to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Operate various machines and equipment, including engraving machines and precision washers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Above average mechanical aptitude and shop math competencies.
  • Strong ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
  • Problem-solving methodology for troubleshooting.
