Onsite Wellness Coordinator, Full-Time Position Requiring Spanish Speaking Skills
About the Job:
If you are passionate about promoting a healthy work environment, this role is for you. As an Onsite Wellness Coordinator, you will be responsible for organizing and executing programs to enhance the mental and physical well-being of employees.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all wellness initiatives within the organization.
- Encourage and implement wellness and fitness projects, gathering feedback from participants.
- Work closely with the Human Resource and Benefits Coordinator to identify cost-efficient wellness programs.
- Evaluate the overall health needs of the staff and develop appropriate plans and initiatives.
- Organize classes, seminars, and fitness assessments to encourage healthier lifestyles.
- Provide support and referrals for personal issues and counseling.
- Maintain accurate records to track employee engagement and program effectiveness.
- Create reports and presentations for upper management regarding wellness activities.
- Assist in budgeting and enforcing wellness policies.
- Perform other relevant tasks as required.
Skills/Abilities Required:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to create engaging presentations and training programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and listening abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and similar software.
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Health Education, Public Health, or a related field is mandatory; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience in counseling, employee assistance, or health education.
- Prior experience in health and wellness, fitness, nursing, or related fields is a plus.
- Familiarity with behavior change techniques and Microsoft Office tools.
- Exposure to taking manual blood pressure readings.
