Business Development Coordinator

- RFP Identification and Pursuit: Regularly search for and identify relevant RFPs online that align with the firm's strategic goals.
- Architect Outreach: Create and maintain a list of architects for potential partnerships. Manage and track communications with these architects to foster strong professional relationships.
- CRM Management: Input and update data in the CRM system meticulously. Ensure that all information is accurate and current.
- Data Entry and Research: Collect and enter relevant project experience and other necessary data into the CRM. Conduct thorough research to gather information on previous projects.
- Event Management: Keep track of business development events, including conferences, networking opportunities, and industry-specific gatherings. Coordinate attendance and follow-up activities.
- Teaming Coordination: Manage the outreach and coordination efforts for teaming with architects on various projects. Ensure all communications and agreements are well-documented and tracked in the CRM.
- Relationship Building: Regularly reach out to architects to discuss potential teaming opportunities and maintain ongoing partnerships.
- Project Experience Research: Research and compile data on previous project experiences to support proposal development and marketing efforts.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the engineering or construction industry.
- Skills:
- Proficient in using CRM systems and data entry
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Experience with project management software
- Knowledge of the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry
- Previous experience in business development or sales support
