Job Description: Clinical Trial Startup Manager

Responsibilities:

Primary Tasks:
  • Oversee operational aspects of industry clinical trial startup for the Cancer Consortium.
  • Develop startup plans, review requirements, and timelines for new industry-sponsored trials.
  • Collaborate with regulatory and fiscal experts to manage startup tasks and prepare budgets.
  • Coordinate with study teams, faculty members, and partners for effective trial implementation.
Scope of Work:
  • Act as a specialist in clinical trial operationalization and resource management.
  • Lead in developing startup timelines, milestones, and protocol integration with sponsors.
  • Maintain records, facilitate communications, and ensure protocol compliance.
  • Report metrics to sponsors and stakeholders, supporting post-award management initiatives.
Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in coordinating industry-sponsored clinical trials.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical background.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver results in dynamic environments.
  • Proficiency in clinical trial budgeting, project management, and communication.
  • Familiarity with CTMS and clinical research tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in clinical research is desirable.
  • Prior exposure to oncology trials is advantageous.
Additional Information:

This role offers an annual base salary ranging from $69,472 to $104,187, commensurate with experience.
