Exciting Opportunity as Dean of Students at Our School

As the Dean of Students, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and engaging online learning environment for our students. Your responsibilities will involve establishing clear standards of conduct, addressing behavioral issues promptly, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance student behavior and engagement.

  • Enforce clear standards of conduct for virtual interactions among students
  • Address student behavioral issues effectively through virtual channels
  • Organize virtual community-building activities to promote student belonging
  • Provide support and assistance to students facing challenges
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure student safety during online sessions
  • Lead teachers in implementing grading policies and performance evaluations
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in interactions
  • Embrace technology as an instructional tool

Qualifications for the Role:

  • Proficiency in virtual communication tools and platforms
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with students
  • Understanding of student behavior management
  • Ability to make decisions in the best interest of students
  • Empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development

Required Education/Training:

  • Arizona Principal Certification or currently enrolled in an admin program
  • Bachelor's Degree and K-8 or 6-12 Teacher Certificate
  • Minimum five years of exemplary teaching experience
