WSP is thrilled to offer a fantastic opening for an Environmental Compliance Consultant to be a part of our Earth & Environment Team. This role is based in our Exton, PA office (Hybrid). It presents a great opportunity for a mid-level professional to progress their career and collaborate with industry experts within a leading global consulting firm.

Your Role

  • Offer support for environmental compliance programs for industrial clients, focusing on NPDES/Stormwater permitting, SWPP, SPCC, RCRA, Hazardous Waste reporting, and more.
  • Provide environmental support for compliance with regulations, permits, and plans.
  • Conduct environmental compliance audits.
  • Prepare technical reports, including audits documentation and data analysis.
  • Manage tasks and projects as per client-approved scopes of work.
  • Assist in nurturing client relationships.
  • Guide junior staff members.

Who We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Earth Science, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in environmental laws and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Interest in investigative work with attention to detail.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-sufficient and able to work under pressure.
  • Valid US driver's license & willingness to travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
  • Knowledge in air permitting and asbestos management.
  • Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Initiative (PSCI) experience.
