Qualifications:

  • Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Technology program
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Ability to perform abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular ultrasound examinations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to operate ultrasound equipment and perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting

What you will do:

  • Preparing patients for ultrasound procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly for optimal imaging.
  • Operating ultrasound equipment to capture images of various parts of the body, such as the abdomen, pelvis, heart, blood vessels, and fetal development during pregnancy.
  • Analyzing the images to identify any abnormalities or potential health concerns.
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient procedures and results.
  • Ensuring that the equipment is properly maintained and calibrated to ensure accurate results.
