We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Palmetto General Hospital. As a key member of our Radiology Diagnostic department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures, including OR and portable exams.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with precision and accuracy
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring optimal image quality
- Collaborate with radiologists to direct medical decisions and ensure patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Assist with patient positioning, transfer, and care as needed
- Training in an AMA-approved school and registry by the ARRT
- Previous hospital experience preferred
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Computer skills with knowledge of HIS, RIS, and PACS systems
- Florida License (General), A.R.R.T.(R) Certified, and BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
