Job Summary

As a Cardiac Cath Rad Tech, you will operate diagnostic imaging equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of the heart and cardiovascular system during cardiac catheterization. This critical role requires direct and indirect patient care, quality control monitoring, and equipment maintenance. You will also assist with electrophysiology cases and be responsible for safely accessing, transporting, and handling medications and sharps.

Responsibilities
  • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to produce contrast-enhanced radiographs of the heart and cardiovascular system
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care
  • Monitor and report quality control issues
  • Maintain equipment and assist with electrophysiology cases
  • Safely access, transport, and handle medications and sharps
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Radiology Technology Program
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Healthcare Provider CPR
  • One year of Radiology Technologist experience
  • Preferred: Two years of invasive/interventional radiology experience or two years in a full-service Cardiac Cath Lab
