Product Marketing is responsible for developing crisp, highly differentiated, and compelling positioning and messaging for AWS and its services. We tell AWSs most important and interesting stories to educate customers about what is possible when you build on AWS.
At AWS, security is our top priority. As a Sr. Product Marketing Manager for generative AI Security, you will be part of a team tasked with developing messaging and positioning that highlights how AWS helps customers secure generative AI. You will also help drive the success of generative AI security initiatives across all audiences. You will work with product and sales teams creating compelling content to help customers understand use cases and value propositions, as well as support marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and service adoption. The ideal candidate has a passion for technology services and translating how technology can be used to secure an organization's data and workloads as they move to the cloud.
Position may be located in Seattle, WA, Bay area, Atlanta, GA, or Boston, MA. Relocation from within the U.S. offered to these locations only.
Key job responsibilities
Develop audience-specific generative AI security messaging, marketing content, and go-to-market materials
Develop detailed campaign project plans, creative briefs, and digital strategies, including campaign goals, messaging, calls to action, segmentation strategy, adoption campaigns, marketing distribution channels, success metrics, and campaign schedule
Define business metrics, measurement plan, and testing plan for related campaigns
Work effectively across AWS with groups such as product, digital marketing, sales, business development, and evangelists to achieve business goals
Develop and support the AWS presence at security conferences helping customers learn how AWS is architected to be the most flexible and secure cloud computing environment available today

About the team
Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications
7+ years of relevant work experience in fields such as technical marketing, technical pre-sales, consulting, training, or product marketing/management
5+ years demonstrated track record in crafting positioning and marketing content
A Bachelors degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study such as
computer science OR 7+ years relevant industry experience in marketing of technical products
Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative technology products
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
MBA and/or computer science, engineering, technology background
5+ years experience in product marketing for services targeting end users
Experience with security technologies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
